Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We spend a good portion of the year out of state and just learned of this tragedy yesterday. I worked with Dave, played golf with him and saw him on several occasions at the Italian American get together at Hickory Grove. Great guy, very easy to work with and like. I will add him and your family to my prayer list.

Dear Kathy and Family,

Words cannot describe the many special qualities exemplified by Dave. He lived his faith on earth and is now praying for us all in Heaven. I was privileged to know Dave and the impact of his life on those around him will continue to reap unseen gifts and graces. I will miss him greatly and I am so sorry for you loss. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry everyone; I just now heard. I was Dave's teammate on the ICC basketball team back in the 70's and a rival of his in middle-distance running when I attended Bergan High School and he was at Central. I never had a finer or funnier teammate than "the Fack." A quality man and I'm sure, a doting husband, parent and grandparent. One of the truly great guys in this world is gone and I an floored. God bless the family and prayers for all. Thanks for the great memories, Dave.

Kathy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I was not able to attend his services and express my heartfelt sympathy. I loved Dave and he will be greatly missed!! Prayers for everyone.

So sad to hear of his passing. I had the pleasure of working and traveling with Dave. He made a lot of us laugh on our adventures to Austrailia. Will be thinking of your family

We are just now hearing of the loss of Dave from this life. Our hearts and prayers go out to you all. Dave's zest for life always brightened our lives, as well as all he met, each time our lives intersected. May the Lord comfort you and keep you.

Dave was an amazing person always helping with something. I remember running into him at church, cross country meets, track meets, or just out and about at places. He always took time to ask how u doing and ask my girls how things where going. My oldest daughter was frustrated at a croos country meet about 3 years ago on her time and Dave gave her words of wisdom and showed he had faith in her that she could better her time. Next meet she improved by a half min. He will be missed and was...

So so sorry to hear this. Kathy our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I knew him through XC and track meets. The kids always talked about how patient he was with them, how he always made them feel calm before the start of a big race. As they got older and ran in H.S. It would make their day to know he was the official - a familiar face. He cared about all athletes but had a unique way of making them feel like they were just a little bit more special. He will be missed and our prayers are with his family
