I'm grateful to Prof. Farnsworth for his teaching -- which was a rich, eye-opening tour of world affairs, making remarkable sense out of the chaos of the world. I was blessed to have been in his Model United Nations class, where he team-taught with Prof. James McKenney, as they unraveled the world's complicated issues and gave us realistic insight into the circumstances and motives underlying the world's disputes and conflicts. Dr. Farnsworth was a wonderful Professor and an exceptional person. I will never forget him. He was such an important leader at WSU and in the Political Science Department.

Professor Farnsworth did an excellent job of making his subject matter relevant and understandable to his students. I admired him as an instructor, and appreciated that he was also involved in the real world of governance as a member of the Supreme Court nominating commission. David was a great citizen and teacher.
