When I joined the McCune Hiaason firm in 1985, David was in his last year with the firm. He helped me immensely as I tried to get a grip on the practice of law. Anytime I needed help, he provided the time. David was a good man and a great lawyer and I'm sorry we have lost him.

Dave and I were classmates at Nova Law School. When our classes aligned we would commute back and forth.Loved talking Gator football with him and life in general. Since he was older and wiser than most of us he was well respected. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

We have known David, and his wife Ann, for many, many years through our common denominator, a special Miami High alumni group from the class of 1959. David was an extremely accomplished man with many outstanding qualities. He lived an exemplary life as husband, father, educator, friend and devoted Christian. The world needs more David Fees. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave when we opened Piper HS in 1971. He was a good friend, an outstanding teacher, a dedicated coach, and an admirable role model for our students and athletes. My wife Marge and I send our love and prayers to Ann and the family.

A great coach (he knew how to motivate a kid not much interested in competition); a great teacher (he handled the mandatory 'Americanism vs. Communism' course in an intellectually honest manner, no small feat at NEHS); and then he went to law school about the same time I did and spoke to us like equals at the reunions.
RIP, Coach Fee.

Dave, the absolute closest friend I've ever had. Our friendship was a bond that is normally found between brothers. We taught and coached together, but more importantly shared everything about life's journey that came our way. Coach, see you again some day - until then rest in peace.

I worked with David at the County for many years. He had a dry sense of humor and an intense work ethic. He taught me to be very precise when I prepared his documents, and it was a great compliment to me when he asked me to assist him with papers he was preparing for a few classes he was taking at, I think, FAU in the early 90s. When I first started working with him, he was not at all comfortable typing and so he preferred to write out whatever it was he wanted me to type. A fond memory I...
