DAVID A. FELDSCHER, age 78. Beloved and cherished husband of 56 years to Charlotte (nee Kinkopf); loving father of Lisa Wadsworth (Jamie); he is survived by his dog Sunshine "Sunny"; son of the late Ida (nee Seery) and Henry Feldscher; brother of the late Robert, James, Darlene and Elaine Gratzer; special uncle to Judy, Laurie and Dawn.
Dave was born in 1947 and went to St. Patrick (west Park) grade school and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1965. He was a proud Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968.
Dave was hardworking and dedicated. He dedicated 38 years (1969-2007) to Pipefitters Local 120. He spent years in the field and also teaching as a welding instructor. He trained his apprentices with respect and received the respect in return knowing that they were our future. After retiring in 2007 he continued to represent Local 120 by working with Center to Protect Workers Rights (CPWR).
Despite many responsibilities he always made time for his family and passions. Though Dave may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity, kindness and generosity. He left a huge impact on everyone who knew him.
Dave's interests and hobbies helped define who he was. He enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, aviation, golf, various softball leagues, travel and so much more. Most of all it was the simple things in life that brought him the most happiness; morning walks, his dog Sunny, sitting in the backyard listening to music and watching the birds, sitting on the dock of the bay (cottage in Marblehead). His love for all these treasures was something he shared with his family. Leaving a mark on them that will never fade.
We find comfort knowing Dave's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared and all the memories we will cherish forever.
He always said, "Don't let the grass grow under your feet, life is short."

Dearest Char, Lisa, Jaimie and Sunny
I am so sorry that the amazing man we all loved was called home. I will forever cherish the years I was lucky enough to work with Dave. Every day he would make a point to come up front to the office to say hello. He was kind, soft spoken, and loved his family fiercely. Grief is hard and I hope with time your sadness and broken hearts will be filled with joyous memories of him and a life well lived. May you find peace from friends and family during...

Dear Char, Lisa, and Jamie. Being around Dave, whether at work or play was always a pleasure for me. He would bring his humor and quiet strength wherever he went. It is a privilege to be his friend. May he rest in peace.

Dear Char, Lisa, Jamie, (and Sunny too), I am heartbroken to hear of Dave´s passing. I always said that next to the word "gentleman" there should be a picture of Dave. He was a wonderfully kind and decent person, and for all the years I worked at PF 120 I never heard anyone utter a negative comment about him, and with our nation that is saying something! He was a great instructor and was admired by his students and peers alike, thanks to him and his patient instruction so many of our...

So sorry to read of Dave's passing. I had the pleasure of working with, for, and instructed by Dave. He had a way of making all three enjoyable. He was at the top of everything he did.
