So sorry to hear that Dave passed away. He will be missed.

Kris, Art, Laura, Joey, and Katherine...the news of Dave's passing deeply saddened us. Our hearts go out to all of you. Dave was always one of our favorite people and we will always remember all the fun times we shared during the kids high school years, especially hockey. Dave Ferriss, a dedicated member of Mariners' Church of Detroit, learned about service as a young boy when his father trained him and many of the young people as acolytes. After his father's passing, Dave unhesitatingly assumed the position and trained the next generation of acolytes (including my son), who enjoyed volunteering for Sunday services and other special occasions at the church.
