Not sure what to say?

Yesterday was September 11, 2024. I am now 70 years old. On September 11, 2001, I was the 46 year old wife of a U.S. diplomat in an Islamic country, watching 9-11 events unfolding on afternoon (there) television. The names of the missing were posted, and as a midwesterner, I realized I knew nobody at the World Trade Center and would not remember all the names of the victims. So I selected just a single name to remember and honor well into the future. It was my duty as an unofficial...

I, again, am remembering your family. Your dad´s name has stuck in my heart for 21yrs. I remember a little girl begging the reporters to help find her dad, David Ferrugio. You all are in my prayers!

Remembering David on the 20th anniversary of 9/11...

My name is Maria Mercedes and I'm from Argentina, that day I was with my two daughters together because we celebrate in 8/11 the national day of the teacher and as usual I turned on the tv on CNN with my coffee in my hand like a normal day when suddenly began all, I began to cry and my eldest daughter woke up when she hear me , we sat holding our hands and she asked me as the same way as one day I did the same question to my mother when Robert Kennedy died ..why mom? We began to pray for all...

RIP

Hi all.

Sending love from the UK. I think about that tragic day and the devastation it left behind all the time. My thoughts go out to the brave victims, the first responders and the family and friends. You really showed the world what it meant to pull together. They will be watching over you and will be so so proud.

Rest in eternal peace.

14 years later. It doesn't get any easier. Watching "The Days After" and seeing his daughter please for his safe return breaks my heart. I never knew you or any other victims from that tragic day but rest in peace David. You will be missed. #NeverForget

My daughter and I just today saw David's daughter on ""The Days After". She broke both of our hearts. When we did not find his name and bio in the book "New York Times, Portrait of Grief", we had a sliver of hope that he had been found. But, sadly, we googled his name and that is how we came across this. We pray that his family has had healing over the years and we will now always continue to pray for David and his loved one left behind. He sounded like a sweetheart of a guy. God Bless

David you will always be rememberd because you were an honest, true loving man who loved life and his family. You are truly missed my friend.
