Not sure what to say?

We can still hear Dave playing and singing "Paradise".... what a kind, sweet man!

Dave,
I played the song that you taught me the other day on the dulcimer. It's "I Wonder as I Wander." Thanks for teaching it to me.
Nancy Longenecker

I will always feel Dave's gentle soul in the dulcimers he made. Your family is in our prayers.

To the Field Family: We are truly saddened by Dave's passing. He was a wonderful, kind and generous man. The world is truly a better place for having had him in it. We are honored to have known him and to have been friends with him. We will miss him deeply. Sue said she will especially miss his hugs. We offer you our condolences and wish you peace. Sue and Paul Dice

Dave gave us the joy of listening to his dulcimer music at the Thursday Irish music sessions. I am sorry for your loss.

I loved talking with Dave. I met him as a member of the Haddonfield Field Club and enjoyed his friendly greetings through those years. We met again when I joined the First Presbyterian Church. I did not know about his interest and talent in music. He continually surprised me! I shall miss his friendliness and send my sympathy to his family.
Jane Nestory

The Field Family, so sorry for your loss, Dave will truly be missed by our family, he was a one of a kind and very special friend, he was also one of our dulcimer family, We will miss his songs and his jokes, we all have very heavy hearts. Dave was one of the original 12 that started the Greater Pinelands Dulcimer Society in 1979. I know he is playing in that angel band. RIP my friend. The Carty Family

To the Field family:
I will miss hearing Dave's beautiful heartfelt music at our Tuesday jams and at SJARMS. Everyone looked forward to just listening to the songs he played and sang at these get togethers. They just won't be the same without him. My deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sincerely,
Marybeth Johns

To the Field Family,
We're saddened by the loss of Dave, a wonderful musician and friend. I still feel that he is with us as I practice "I Wonder as I Wander" which he taught me. I loved the way he played "Pretty Saro" and I'm glad I was able to sing with him. So many songs, so many memories of Dave at the jams and Irish sessions.
I will miss him very much.
My prayers are with his family.
