Not sure what to say?

Your husband/father was such an impressive man and he meant a good deal to my father, Bill Sheffield. I am so happy I got to talk to Dave after my father passed away and recall their days in track. I wish I had known him better. Sincerely, Carol Sheffield lapin

Wayne and I would like to send our condolences to the family. "Doc" was such an amazing human being. We are so fortunate to know him and able to share time with him.

Dave was co-captain of his track team with my dad, Bill Sheffield. I called Dave when my Dad passed away a year ago in May. I am so glad I did because we had a wonderful conversation. I didn´t know him but he gave me some great memories of my dad. I will always appreciate that. I am sorry for your loss but 95 incredible years is something to celebrate.

TO THE FISHER FAMILY YOUR DAD AND OF COURSE YOUR MOM WERE ONE OF A KIND NEIGHBORS AND JUST AMAZING PEOPLE . These are people, The Fisher Family one never forgets. You are our heartfelt sympathies and prayers for the loss of your dad, David. We have great memories of his children also. Always such caring children, Like your folks. Love The Bowie's

Susan and Fisher Family--All my life I've had a visual memory of you at one end of Vermillion Drive (Antigua) and me at the other. During all those adolescent-chattering, boy-watching, goofy-thinking times, your Dad was a lovely presence of peace and stability. I send from far away my condolences for the loss of a kind Dad. Love, Jane

Susan and family, What a wonderful man you had as a father! Uncle David was such a sweet, kind, loving man to me and later to my children at Fisher´s Early Learning. He will be missed! Our prayers are with you all. Joelyn and family

We were so very sad that David was too ill to be at the 39th Bomb Group Reunion this past year. He and all of you were greatly missed. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love you, Sherry, Mike Soper, Alexis and Mike Nelson
