I worked with Dave's daughter, Nancy at Humboldt County Child Support. I remember Dave was a warm, generous and friendly man who truely loved his family. I was sorry to learn of his passing.

Max, my heart goes out to you. We were neighbors of Dave in the 60's. He helped my husband, Willie, rebuild an airplane that we enjoyed flying. He also helped make a car for my daughter, Eileen, when she was a teenager. It was make from parts and never did get everything right as the instructions were in German. I worked with him at Redwood Kenworth and I loved to listen to him tell stories from his past. It's true that his life was a life you only read about. I will remember him fondly.
