i miss you Dave

Rest In Peace Dave have a lot of fun memories at HPD working together with you.

Dave was a very good friend . I was a firefighter with him at FDLS years ago. Dave took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. When, I first join the the fire department . He help made me a very good firefighter. Dave helped me through some tuff times in my life. He always gave me good advice. I went to lots of state fire training classes with him. First met Dave in the Police Academy, had no idea then of the adventures we would share. Made me a better person by teaching me "not to sweat the small stuff" and a lot of other things. He was around when I suffered a series of personal tragedies some years ago. Some people leave a legacy that will live forever, certainly DJ has. Rest In Peace my brother. If the family ever needs anything just call on me.

I only knew Dave 5 or 6 years working Certification Tests at HACC. I really don't know if he did not remember my name or just liked calling me boss. Either way it did not matter. Dave was a good guy and would do anything for you. We will take it from here Dave. See you at the big one.

Dave you will be missed by all. I worked with you at hbg police dept and Nick named you Rambo and you always laughed when I teased you.

Sending my condolences to Dave's family. I knew him when I worked at the Fire Academy at HACC and as one of the Firefighter evaluators for their certification testing. He was a great guy and awesome instructor. He was always willing to help anyone at the school. RIP Dave. You will be missed.

I don't know where to begin .So Sorry to hear of Dave's passing .He was a huge roll model in my life as well as Tim Carter ,Michelle Bailey And My father figure John Salvadia who used to baby sit my brother and I .Dave came over to John's house on occasions and We use to see Dave then because John was my neighbor.As well as the substation .Dave has been in my families life for many many years .He was such a wonderful person who was loved and cared for by many.He was such a big role model to...
