Not sure what to say?

Marguerite and the Flynn Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I met Dave in physical therapy school and I will always remember him for his way of making people laugh. He was a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I met Dave when he was a waiter at Parker's Restaurant in Bethesda. It was THE neighborhood bar to go to to watch football games and just hang out. Dave was our absolute favorite waiter and we often got him behind in his work because we had so much in common to talk about. I am head of physical therapy at Suburban Hospital and Dave and I used to talk about what he needed to do to get into P.T. school as well as who was going to win in all the University of Richmond Spiders(my alma mater) v....

Marguerite and family,

What a great loss for you and the community. Not long before his death, Dave and I were talking about physical therapy practice issues. As we were parting, he prouldy showed me pictures of your children. My thoughts go out to you and your beautiful children.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you during this time of grief.

I am shocked to hear of David's death today. We went to grade school together. He was such a positive, happy person. It's hard to imagine someone so young and healthy could be gone. I am sorry for his family. I hope they can find peace.

Old memories yield slowly to the passage of time. All of youth dissolves, leaving us behind. Still, the life remains as before, challenging us to BE evermore.

Love in Him,
The Doanes (Jenn, Frank, Pat & joe)

Dear John and Patty,

My mother and I learned of David's death today. We are shocked. My mom is trying to get in touch with you.

With much love,
Patti O'Brien, daughter of Dolores.

I just found out about Dave's passing and I am so very sorry. I hadn't spoken to Dave in 10 years, but I thought of him only a few weeks ago with great affection. We were friends in college and I truly did not know a more generous, big-hearted, fun-loving, all around nice guy. I am so sad for his family. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Marguerite--I only found out about the passing of David on January 17. I am profoundly saddened, yet I feel fortunate that I was able to make Dave's acquaintance, if only for a few months as his patient. You may recall that I met you as well at the office shortly before your second baby arrived. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I had the honor and privilege of working with Dave at our practice in Rockville before he moved to his new office. I spent many times in between patients, talking to Dave, whether it was about life, about the latest HBO shows or trading jokes and witticisms! After he moved to his office in the Kentlands, we kept up the banter through email and I always looked forward to his occasional visits, popping into our office for a quick "Hello" and a hug. We are all absolutely devastated and will miss...
