I am sad to hear of the loss of your father. I am very sorry that I did not know about it until today, nearly a month later.

Your Dad was a great guy. I appreciate the memories of all of us together in the Carlton neighborhood and in your back yard. I remember your Dad and mine acting like big kids with fireworks and their toys. I remember your Dad at McCulloughs cabin in Michigan.

I am so happy that I got to talk to Dave on the phone when my Pete died in April. We had a wonderful time talking about the holidays, birthdays, weddings and of course our week-ends together playing Tripoley. They sure were great times !!
When I think of Dave, I have a smile on my face, but today I have tears in my eyes. May God bless Dave and his wonderful family.

My prayers are with you at this time. Dave is in a better place and does not have to suffer any more. I feel for Charles and Marie for this is the only grandfather they have known.
