Not sure what to say?

David was my brother and my closest friend in the world. Because our early life was so difficult, we learned to hang onto each other knowing we would make it through if only we were together. I am proud to be his sister and proud of all he accomplished and all the hearts he touched. I will miss him for the rest of my life.

Dave Foland is a class act. I worked with him for a very short time at GTE in 1986. But we stayed in touch long after that - right up to his passing. There are not nearly enough people in this world like Dave. It's not "only the good die young". It's that the good are noticed and missed so much more when they leave this world before their time. I worked with Dave at GTE/Verizon for many years. Dave was always humble, compassionate, intelligent, and knowledgeable. I knew David for several years, as I serviced his company van for years. Sometimes, I would stop by and get it at your house. We would visit, when he dropped it by the garage.
My wife and I stopped by your store that David was so proud of. Once, when he was on sick leave, I stopped to get the van and he gave me a fresh, homemade loaf of bread.
These will always be fond memories.
My sincere condolances to the whole family.
David was a great guy.

I was so shocked to see David in the obituaries today. I enjoy going to your store and talking to you and David. If you don't know who I am, I'm the one who talks about going to Brimfield every year. Please accept my condolences in the loss of your husband and father.
