AT a time in my life when I can track down old friends. I was a Viet Nam brother with arms. We spent many nights talking, philosophizing, complaining, etc. I last heard from David aka Whitey in ‘84 when the Wall opened. He invited me to meet in D.C. for the gathering but I didn’t have the $ to travel VT to D.C. plus I had five young children. My heart goes out to David's family. I am very saddened by his death. We were childhood friends and played on the streets of Smithers for many years. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May God keep you in his loving care. God Bless you David.

My heart broke as I read of David's passing. My husband had been trying to follow on facebook. David tought me several life lessons when I was an 18 years old just starting life as an adult working at Lowe's. To his family I know you have suffered a great loss and are in our prayers!

I am sorry to hear about David. My husband, John Lee Cottrell, went to school with David and they graduated together. I lost John in December and my prayers go out to you and the family. They always had so many stories and played ball together. My condolences to you all.
