David Rodney Foster

David Rodney Foster, 55, of Village Green Circle, Princeton died Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Beckley. Born April 28, 1957, in Bluefield, he is the son of Paul David Foster and Johnetta Stevens Foster. Rodney graduated from Princeton senior high school in 1975 and had attended Concord College in Athens. Rodney served with United States Marine Corps 1975 until 1979. For several years Rodney was employed by Swim Trucking Company of Princeton and later work for Davis Mechanical in Winston-Salem North Carolina. He was of the Church of God faith. While his health permitted, Rodney enjoyed fishing, golfing, going to the beach and was an avid West Virginia University Mountaineer fan. He will be lovingly remembered sadly missed by his mother and father along with his two siblings, Teresa Stewart and her husband Brent, and Jerry Wayne Foster all of Germanton North Carolina. His Paternal Grandmother Naomi Foster of Princeton. A host of special Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A service to celebrate his life will be held 7:30 PM Thursday evening, April 25, 2013 at Kellysville Church of God at Kellysville with Pastor Franklin Adkins officiating. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Garden in Princeton with Military Honors given under the direction of the United States Marine Corps. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until the service hour at the church. Those wishing to attend the graveside services are requested to meet at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton by 10:30 AM Friday morning. The Foster Family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory Cremation Center on the Athens Rd., Princeton.
