Not sure what to say?

Thank you for all the times you helped me. You made my work more pleasant. RIP my old friend..

The Purple Martin Society, NA was very saddened to know of the death of a wonderful Purple Martin pioneer and wildlife manager. The devotees of Western Purple Martins have much to owe to David Fouts for helping to bring back these birds in Oregon.

So sorry to hear that Dave has passed. He was a good friend, and we will miss him.

Very sad to hear of Dave's death. He certainly took good care of all the Vets and the purple Martins he loved so much.

Dave, you have a special place in my soul for sharing your love, passion and knowledge of our feathered friends while we worked together at PVAMC. Because of you, I keep an eye on the Blue Birds of Rexhill. You also were ever so present to problem solve the struggles the Vets were having. Grateful our paths crossed in this world. May you be in the palm of his hands till we meet again, and that you are surrounded by your beloved Purple Martins. roz

We Sauvie Islanders for decades have appreciated Dave's purple martin houses and gourds and all the birds we get to regularly see. Last year when I moved to a houseboat Dave set up four gourds for me. Just as he predicted, martins arrived to check out the gourds the very next morning and nested in two of them. Dave is much missed already.

Avery lovely man.

From a fellow martin fan and birthday twin on the east coast, sorry to hear of your loss.
