I met David in 1987. I cold contacted him about a small building he owned next door to one I was working on as the architect. He not only hired me, taking a chance on a 29 year old, he extended that relationship for 37 years, David and Linda becoming friends with Terry and me for those many years. He was an extraordinary presence, always fair, and behind his dry humor and guarded manner, extremely caring. We greatly miss him. Terry and Gene
