On October 21, 2021 David Paul Franzoni was called home.
David was a devoted and loving husband, father, uncle and friend. David devoted 40 years of his life to serving his country and was still serving even after his retirement in a civil service position. David took great pride in his Military Service. During his military and civilian flying career David learned and mastered his engineering duties on several different aircrafts to include the C5A Galaxy, 747’s, and the DC8 to name a few. David had an unmatched work ethic and could accomplish anything he set his mind to.
David openly professed his faith in Jesus and served in his church on a regular basis. He was a loving and gregarious personality who would do anything to help others even if he was in pain. David suffered injuries in the service of his country which caused him great pain but he never let that stop him from helping anyone in need.
David was a devoted father who would do anything for his daughter. David was also a master joke teller. He was the ultimate Dad joke guy. He and his daughter frequently tested each to see who had the best jokes. As a husband David made sure his family was his top priority. He devoted his life to them on a daily basis. David would frequently comment that he was happiest just being with his family. David was a devoted Boston sports fan and made sure everyone knew about his devotion. David loved and spoiled his animals, especially his two companions Spotty and Benjamin. They walked together, ate together and slept together, sometimes pushing Momma off the bed. They gave him great joy.
David married his wife Kathleen in 1999 and together they had their beautiful daughter Sarah. God brought David home but he will live in our hearts forever. May he find peace in the arms of our Lord.
David is survived by his wife Kathleen Franzoni and daughter Sarah Concepcion Franzoni, father Kim Franzoni and wife Cathy, mother Nancy Clark, brother Mark Franzoni and wife Mandy, sister in law Rosemary Young and Steve, brother in law James Young and wife Gina, nieces Caroline and Madison Young, Carleigh Franzoni and Heather.
