David E. Freeman David E. Freeman, "Big Dave", died January 18, 2011 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. David was a former player for the Virginia Monarchs Football Team.
He is survived by two daughters, Alyssa and Kendall Freeman; his son Isaiah Freeman; his father, Donald Freeman; his sister, Deborah Freeman-Gaskins; two brothers, Donald Freeman, Jr. and Dennis Freeman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, 10 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First Street, Newburg, NY 12550. New York funeral arrangements by Rhodes Funeral Home, 43 Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Interment to follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. Mr. Freeman will be buried next to his mother, Denise. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for David's children, please contact Caroline Johnston for more information. Local arrangements by Mountcastle Turch

My deepest empathy and prayers go out to David Freeman's Family, Friends, and Loved Ones. I was priviledged to know him for only 3 short years. He was an intelligent, kind, and intutitive man who loved people. In addition to "Big Dave" I called him "Peanut". He will be greatly missed but now will be well cared for in the hands of the Lord.
