Not sure what to say?

To David,I just found out you passed away I sent you a CHRISTMAS CARD and I just never heard back. I am so deeply sorry that I was not there when you went to the nursing home. I wish I would have been there for you . I am just heart broken about it I pray that youu are a Angel in heaven. And with my mom.I know you missed her so much. I know you are with all the family. I love so much We all loved you so much. Rest in peace Sandy

Mr Freytag was my principal at Forks twp elementary school K - 5 and was always welcoming and supportive when I first started at Forks, being afraid as a child. I´m now in my 50´s and am sad to see my childhood passing. Thank you Mr Freytag. God Bless until we meet again

Dave was always a great next-door neighbour to my Mom. RIP friend.

Dave was like a brother to me. We have been friends since first grade at Webster, then Shull and EHS. Our families were close friends and members of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. My father and Dave's mother went to school together. Dave called me every few weeks. Our last conversation was about a week after he entered the rehabilitation center. I will really miss him but I know he is no longer suffering and is in a better place. I feel blessed to have had him as a close friend. ...

Teleflora's Divine Peace Bouquet

Fond memories of you from a former student of Wolf elementary. Christine Martinez Swint

Mr. Freytag was the principal at Forks Elementary School when I started teaching. We will never forget his smile, his laugh, his wit, his love for animals and devotion to everything "Easton." He was larger than life in so many ways, with a gregarious, outgoing personality, fully embracing life and engaging everyone he encountered, with enthusiasm and genuine interest in each person as an individual. Dave always had fascinating stories to tell, making every staff member feel right at home. ...

On behalf of the Class of 1954 Easton High School I wish to express our condolences on his passing. I've known David for many years. He had a lovely singing voice. We talked several times a month keeping up with the class. May he rest in peace. Sandie Stutzman, Secretary EHS 1954

Rip Mr. Freytag, I was a student years ago at Wolf School. He had a passion for teaching his students. When we went to junior high, they knew the kids who were in Mr. Freytag's class. He made learning fun.
