Professor Galaher was my instructor at SPJC for Honors Composition I and II and Motion Picture Criticism from 1990-1991. His way of engaging the class with discussion, humor, and humanity was refreshing and encouraging. Dear Mr. Galaher, You were hands down my favorite teacher ever. I only had one class with you in 1977, but you left such an imprint. Wit, wisdom, and occasional snark. Many years later I had the wonderful surprise of running into you at the Wharf in Pass-A-Grille enjoying refreshment with your cycling friend. Rest in precious peace.
