Kate and David at an AYA event
David was the first person Kate met her age that had cancer. Prior to meeting David Kate was super quiet about her condition. With David's encouragement, Kate became more open. This improved her quality of life so much. We will always be grateful to David for his compassionate friendship to Kate even after his own relapse. I am sure Kate has David at a heavenly party!
