Not sure what to say?

At my age, I don't check obituaries and didn't hear about David in time to attend his service. My heart goes out to his parents and his sister, Marty, my best friend in Junior/Senior High School. David was a great little brother to her, and a sailing friend of my brother's. I am thankful that he found Christ before he left this life. I hope that Amy can make sense of that for their children. We look forward to joining him in Heaven one day.
Peace,

Amy: Iwas at the memorial today and was very impressed by the service. Dave was very special to Me.I don't know your family very well but feel that Dave was a part of mine. I guess I am one of Dave's oldest customers. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Dave and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. All my sympathy...

David was a wonderful man. Our ski weekend together is irreplaceable, it sure was fun to be with him and see first hand how much he loved and cared for his family. Amy you sure are lucky to have found this gem.

David was a classmate as well as a childhood friend. When I think of David, I think of numerous games of Hide-and-Seek with all the neighbor kids playing, and countless hours of everyone swimming in the lake. My heart is heavy with sadness for the Garber family, and I know that David is now at peace.

Rest in peace, friend! You'll be fondly remembered everyday!!

What a great friend you have been. You have been and inspiration to all of us at Waddell and Reed and kept us all trying to bump you out of first place. My prayers go out to Amy and those wonderful children. See ya later, Sherry Becker

I met David while I cared for him in the Hospital. I considered myself privileged to take care of David as a nurses aide. David had a bright spirit about him and always maintained a positive attitude. He has made a huge impact in my life. My condolences to the Garber family.

Dave,
We will miss your smile and your ever-present optimism. We'll miss Chinese food lunches and the Kalamazoo concert connection. Thank you for your friendship.

We'll keep "Mr. Garber's" chair.

I am glad that you have found peace. May God rest your soul.
