Dave and I were members of Co E, 12th Special Forces Group, (ABN), US Army Reserve in the late 1960's when both of us were undergraduates at Portland State University. I believe Dave never joined the Special Forces Association, but many of his colleagues from that organization remember him well. RIP Dave. Jerald Powell
