Not sure what to say?

To the family of David, I'm sorry to have heard from mom and dad the day of the funeral about David's unexpected death. I didn't see David for many years until my mother in law was referred to him for the treatment of a broken wrist about 3 years ago. We had some good chats during those visits, and I knew from speaking with him that he loved you all. He spoke of getting a dining room table so he could have all of you for Thanksgiving, and of picking up I believe a crown roast for the...

I WAS SADDENED TO HERE ABOUT DAVE'S PASSING. I WAS OUT OF TOWN AND WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN TO HIS SERVICE. I WORKED FOR HIM AND APPRECIATED ALL OF HIS KINDNESS AND UNDERSTANDING. HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND A WONDERFUL BOSS. MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY.

I am proud to have survived one of the worst storms I have ever seen on Lake Superior with David and his proud old tug Mount McKay. David was one of the most adventurous and intelligent persons I have met and am happy to have known him. He will be missed by his many friends in the shipping industry.

I was saddened to see the news that Dr Garrick passed away so young. He was a great surgeon and I have the knee to prove it. My deeped sympathy to all of his family.

I am grateful to have known you. You were one of my dad's best friends. I am told I was named after you. I am glad I was able to meet you and spend time with you before you left for Minnesota for the last time.

Much aloha to the friends and family of David Garrick. We attended school together from Wasatch Elementary through Provo High. David was a very nice person and its a great loss that he died so young.

I send our greatest condolences on the loss of David. I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to make the funeral. I send my love always and you are in our prayers.

This is sent with big hugs and kisses.

Sincerely,

Heather (Tooke) Delaney and girls
