Not sure what to say?

Dave....always enjoyed your stories and wit sitting around the pool in Palm Springs CA with the Jackson Trippers. You were a special person. RIP.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember him to be a very kind man. He and my Dad used to referee together. ❤

Algebra class at Frost Jr. High, with Dave Garrison as my teacher, was the first time I truly appreciated the beauty of mathematics, and it helped chart the course for the rest of my life, and my future as an engineer. He was one of the first teachers who truly validated students for their abilities, helped them overcome their fear of tests and quizzes, and generally (kindly, naturally) provided the tools they would need to make their lives better. David garrison was one of the most entertaining golfer I’ve experienced at hickory hills ! So enjoyed his times there and always glad to see him ! One of his most special memories w Dave was a very packed afternoon and him and Dave Peterson got their cart and said “we’ll find a hole “ ! Sure enough found a gap on 13 and proceeded to start their ! I’ll miss his visits while Barb was “getting pretty “ at her hair salon and he’d stop out and we’d chit chat ! Sad day when I heard of his passing !

I did not have Mr. Garrison as a teacher at JHS, but everyone knew Mr. Garrison. He was one of the funniest people I've ever known. The world is a better place for having had him in it. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Condolences to the family. Dave was a fun person to be around. Many good times at Arbor Hills Country Club. He enjoyed what he did. Missed and never forgotten. RIP

I first met Mr Garrison from my dad (Dal Ferris), of course at a golf course. He later became my golf coach. When I think of Mr Garrison, I think of a man of patience. He will be remembered by everyone that crossed his path. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So much fun to be around. Always joking around with some genius one liners. Ran some good golf games at Burr Oak. Great Guy..............

Davis’s smile will be sorely missed
