Not sure what to say?

I am a friend of Dave's from Carleton. I have many warm memories of intra-mural broomball and softball, barbeques and roadtrips to the Twin Cities with him. I am sure that all of Dave's friends from Carleton join me in saying that we will miss his playful sense of humor and his friendship. He left us much too early.

Dear Myrna, Jerry and Family,

I was so very sad to hear of your loss.
I hope that you can find comfort with family and friends and with the beautiful memories of your beloved son David.
with love,
Fran Wolff

Dear Gassel Family,

We wanted to express our sympathies to you in this very sad period. While we did not David well, we knew of him from Kevin's childhood on the north shore and his Hillcrest days and I knew of him as Debbie's older brother from our days at Chippewa. Our hearts are saddened that you have experienced this loss.

Myrna and Gerry, my deepest condolences of the loss of David. May the love of family and friends help comfort you at this difficult time.

Our deepest condolences and prayers of strength go to your family at this time.

I will never forget his words of encouragement and the...

I will never forget his great sense of humor and his fierce competitiveness on the ice. He would always push you to be the best. As long as I have known him (over 18 years), he never gave up on anything. He was truly an inspiration. I will miss you on Saturday mornings.
