Not sure what to say?

We had the pleasure of meeting David to assist him in bringing his boat from Madisonville to Destin. What a great man and just a joy to be with. We enjoyed our time and our thoughts and prayers to the family! We’re so sorry we are just now seeing this. Beth our best to you always. Scott and Janice Bordelon

Was in residency with David. His enterprise of getting us rural ED shifts saved me!
Always a smile. After you knew him awhile you never saw his disability. And that to me was his legacy. Thanks David.

Dear Scott and family: Sorry to hear about your father. He must have been one very special person.May the memories of his very remarkable life always be an inspiration to you and your family as you move forward on life's journey.

I have so many memories of David while we were in high school together. I can't remember a time when I heard him complain..except when it rained and the pavement was slippery! He was, and always be one of my favorite memories of high school. He was truly one of the good guys. He liked everyone and inspired many with his determination and belief in his abilities. His disability didn't even enter his mind. After we lost touch, I often thought of him and knew that no matter where we was he would...

I was a classmate of David's at Robert E. Lee High School and was so impressed by his gentle, loving and kind spirit and his indefatigable spirit and optimism. If ever there was a model of a good citizen (and this, after all, was in high school!), it was David. I'm saddened to learn of our loss but know that he's got a special place in everyone's hearts who knew him ... many far better than I.

I had several patients in common with Dave. He always showed his caring for each and every one. He also contributed much to the local and state medical community. He always had my utmost respect as a physician and as a person.

When I knew David in Jr. High and High School, I was always impressed by his strength and courage. I cant help but admire his legacy of success. My condolences.

My name is Randy Goldich. David an I were good friends at Lee High. I always admired David and spoke of him a lot. He never let his disability slow him down. He was sooo talented. Never heard him complain. Unfortunately, lost contact when we went to LSU.. I was looking forward to possibly seeing him at Lee Highs 50th class reunion. We moved from BR to Colorado. Regret not reaching out. We will miss him!

David was a wonderful friend to so many of us! He was such a good young man: kind, strong and so dear through high school and beyond. The last time I saw him was at our 40 year class reunion. I gave him a quick hug and now I wish I had hugged him a little longer. Until we meet again, David.
