David Geddes passed away on August 21, 2014 in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on August 27, 2014.
I first met Dave and his wondeful wife Bea at the dedication of the new school in Chiniak, Alaska when they presented an American flag to fly proudly above the school. We continued our friendship as members of VFW Post 7056 in Kodiak. His service and sacrifices to our country will always be remembered. My warmest and best regards to his family!

He was like another parent to me during my turbulent teens and his support meant a lot to me. When we became Facebook friends he added me as family. He was a very special man and the world was a better place because he lived in it. He must be rejoicing to be in the presence of our Lord and all of his loved ones that passed on.
