Not sure what to say?

This is very belated, but I just learned of Dave's passing this weekend. I was in Delta Sig with Dave, and had the opportunity to see him again at the October 2012 Reunion. Although much time had passed, it was wonderful to see him. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and family. A link in our Gordian Knot has been lost. Yitbos, Brother Dave.

Along with others that were fortunate enough to know Dave beginning with Fraternity life at SMU some 39 years ago, I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. Bill (Savage), Dave, and I were three Pilgrims of the Delta Sig house at SMU that for some years, you wouldn't see one of us without seeing the others. Although there has been much water under the bridge, Dave will always be my brother and my friend. God Speed, my brother! I love you and may you pass safely in your...

I was fortunate to have Dave as a great friend and fraternity brother in Delta Sigma Phi. His energy and love of life was contageous. While our paths have seldom crossed these last few years each time we visited was like we had seen each other yesterday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May God's peace and blessings be with Cindy and the rest of Dave's family and friends in this loss. YITBOS Brother Dave.

I was blessed to work with David in the bookstore. He was a great man and he will truly be missed.

I had the priviledge of working as David's financial planner for the past four years. He was a very caring, giving and warm hearted man. I will miss our discussions on the newest financial books he had read or the newest coins he had bought. He was extremely intelligent and had a passion for learning. He will be missed.

May God's blessings be bestowed upon your family.

In the past few years, David has been a great email and Facebook friend. He was always witty and always fun. When my husband threatened to eat our grandkids' Reese's pieces at Halloween, David sent Ted a shoe box full of Reese's. I'm sure the customs' officers were perplexed. We will miss David so much.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
