Not sure what to say?

i met Dave in high school. we played sports together and became best of friends. we actually worked together and spent a lot of time at other activities. i was his best man when he married dianne when we were just 18. we kept in touch over the years as our families grew. his family was always first. some years we were closer than others. he was always a great friend and a better man. always willing to listen, help, advise and share when needed. he will be missed a great deal. i will remember...

We are sorry to hear of Dave's death. We had lost touch with him in the last 20 years, but have good memories of his smiling face and optimistic outlook on life. We couples got together in the 80's and had some nice times. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family.

Dave at Goat Rocks

Dave and I ran lots of miles together including marathons, back packed the Cascades, and climbed Mt Hood. We pushed each other physically and he was a true gamer always up for a challenge. I will add a few photos this weekend.

My sincerest condolences to Dave's family. Dave was a classmate of mine at Richmond elememtary school as well as Franklin High School and will always be remembered as the NICEST classmate. I saw him almost 6 years ago at our 30th high school reunion and was happy to see that he truly hadn't changed! I am so sad that his time on our earth is gone. My thoughts and prayers will be with his family.

Like everyone, we were both shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's sudden death. Friends since high school, we had grown apart over the years, but managed to occasionally stay in touch by phone. Prior commitments prevent us from being at his Memorial, but Dave and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Gill Family: Our prayers and thoughts go out to all of you as Dave was that person in my life that when I met him through coaching his daughters soccer team he became a great friend and we shared many great moments together from city league basketball games to camping and skiing and most of all for allowing me to be a part of his family and those times will always be with me as Dave is truly a mans man with incredible integrity as his advise to me was always to do whats right and...

Dave is a man I will always Love. He inspired me in so many ways and there was much in him that I want for myself. He was always uplifting and generous. He shared himself with my entire family and he shared his family with us too. I've missed him and am brokenhearted I won't see him again. I won't ever forget the weekends of camping at Prineville and having both families in my van pulling his boat...so many laughs...hysterical!!! He was a brother to me
