Not sure what to say?

I love you, David! Thank you for all of the goodness you brought to our combined families! Much love, Kimberly

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's death. I would have loved to come to the funeral. I was a partner with Dave in the Tax and Estate Planning group at Van Cott, Bagley for many years. I was assigned to work with him when I graduated from law school. He was a great mentor and example, both as an attorney and as a person. Best wishes to all of you. J. Keith Adams

I knew Dave through interactions in the Missionary Department and the Timpanogos Club where he remained actively involved to the end. Dave was always kind and pleasant and a joy to be around. He will be missed.

David Gillette was an active member of the Salt Lake City Rotary Club, and I admired his commitment to the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. I haven't seen much of Dave since he left VanCott for mission service, but he continued his service above self in many religious and community activities. My best wishes go out to Doris and the family as you say farewell to Dave.

So sorry I missed this. Sister Gillette my best to you. He was know as "the nicest man in the world" to everyone I ever spoke to about him. I remember him and you with great fondness Randall Skanchy

We love the Gillettes. Dave was debonair as Best Man (and Doris a beautiful Bride's Maid) at my parents' wedding. The recordings of The Villagers, the Gillette trip back to Philadelphia to visit us in the 70's, family get togethers in Salt Lake...I'm grateful Dave and Bob were able to continue their friendship into their 70's by going to the Masters, going on cruises, and skiing. I'd like to think they're making sweet music again!

Our sympathies. We heard this day was coming soon, but still sad. I have known Dave in the law practice as well as in the neighborhood. Always well liked and respected.

David Gillette was a true gentleman. Kind, considerate, generous and caring. As a "tennis buddy" for many years, I grew to love him as a great friend and an inspriration.

Dear Gillettes, Joslin and I are so sad at the loss of this incredible man. Truly one of the greatest Utahns of his time and leaves such a legacy.
