Not sure what to say?

While extremely late with this note, as a result of reading of the the passing of Gary, I saw a note of the prior passing of David's many years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gionet family. As a kid, the Gionet family was an impressive and talented group. David was an amazing goalie, but as you all know, an amazing individual. Again, I am sorry for you and your family's losses.

I just learned of Dave's passing and wanted to pass on my condolences to his family. I played hockey with Dave and his brother Alan. I have many fond memories of Dave both as a person(he was a hoot!) and a hockey player.

I just learned today about Dave's passing. I went to high school with Dave and have wonderful memories of him. He was a big man with a very big heart. My deepest condolences to his family. His time here was too short.

My heart goes out to the Jo Ellen and the Gionet family. I became a member of the Gionet-Morin sibling clan through my brothers' friendship with Alan and Bruce. I quickly gained an extended set of brothers over holiday visits to Pittsfield.
I have fond memories of Dave as a kind, big hearted guy, a great story teller and capable of being just as silly as the rest of the sibling clan members. My deepest sympathies to you all.

My thoughts and prayers to the Gionet family. The many years of great hockey memories starting at young ages at the Boy's Club right through high school.

Thoughts and prayers to Jo Ellen, Ralph & Betty and the entire Gionet family during this time of mourning.

My first memory of hearing Dave's name was while attending Pittsfield High School. His goaltending accomplishments for the PHS hockey team during the winter of 1976 had become legendary.

I eventually met Dave through my brother's friendship with Alan and my friendship with Bruce. Dave was definitely the largest Gionet with a presence to match his personality. He always had...

My deepest sympathy to the Gionet family. Dave was a fellow goaltender and provided the Pittsfield Generals with outstanding goaltending in the mid 70's. I had the pleasure of playing with and against Dave. His family is in my thoughts today. (1976 graduate - Lenox).

Jo - It seems as if it were just a few years and not 10 that I welcomed you to the neighborhood, and although I have been gone for 5 of those years, the Gionets were the best neighbors anyone could ask for. My prayers are with you and may God grant you comfort during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Jo, Norton, and Dave's entire family. We lived two doors down from the Gionet's on Beaver avenue for quite a few years. I will always remember playing golf with Dave, as well as his great smile and laugh.
