In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

David was my uncle. I just found his obituary. I knew him when I was younger. I remember him as being kind and funny. R.I.P., Uncle Dave.

Close to 2 years after Mr. Gleason passed away I remenber him like a God of Olympus. The time he look for me when I was completely alone in a big restaurant in Geneve, he talked to me like a master/father and I felt a magnamimous/humble soul.

Even I couldnt be part of the Austin family I have had the privilege to touch the Olympus trough him.

An honor for a peruvian to meet Mr. David Gleason. My greatest appreciation to his family and especially to Mike.

Michael...

You will always remain in our hearts.

Dear Mr. Gleason,

One of the greatest Powdermen! A friend to the Prescott family....Always.

Our condolences goes to the Gleason family.
Rest in Peace and Love

My deepest condolences to the family. Dave was simply one of the best men I have ever known. My years as a leader at Hazelden and after was enriched by his counsel and support. There is a brick with his name engraved on it at Project Turnabout, a Minnesota treatment center for alcohol and drugs. It honors a donation he made without ever visiting the place. What a heart! What a loss. RIP Dave.

Mike,

Sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I'm sure that he will be greatly missed in your family and throughout the Austin Powder "family" as well.
I always enjoyed being around David, he always took a special interest in how and what you were doing, and had a big vision for the future of the company!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

With the passing of David Gleason, the explosives industry world-wide has lost a colossus and we a very dear friend. David's care and concern for people drove his commitment to safety in the manufacture and use of explosives. Not surprisingly he became a formidable champion of SAFEX International leaving an indelible mark on the industry all over the world. Therefore, we give thanks for a marvellous role model as well as a special friend. His courage, generosity and wise counsel will be...
