I´m so sorry for this deep loss Louise. I remember your delight in speaking about David in those early days, and see that you met a true life partner. My sympathy as you move forward missing him.

Very sorry for your loss, Louise. I had ridden with Dave on two Oregon tours and found him to be a fun person to be around. I was totally shocked when I learned of his death.

It goes without saying that we were stunned by David´s death. He was such a wonderful spirit and great person to be around. Always provocative. Our bike ride that he planned from his home earlier this past summer was one of the summer´s highlight for us. David´s planning and excitement to host a Damascus ride was infectious. David will be missed. Having known has made my life brighter. Again, our deepest sympathies. Cynthia Chilton and Ed Abrahamson

David Gleason and I rode bicycles together on many week-long rides. I learned to appreciate his constant good humor and sincere care for his fellow riders. I will miss riding with David.

I have ridden with David on several GoTheDistance bike rides. I will miss his smile and gentle encouragement to keep pedaling. He was a strong rider but never felt the need to intimidate others, quite the contrary. I'll think of him on my future rides. I'd like to be informed about when the celebration of life will be held.
