Dear Ruth and family: My deepest sympathy to you and family. I just found out about Dave's passing yesterday upon reading his birthday message in the news. I was shocked. I had the good fortune to work with Dave at Saginaw General Hospital in the 1960's. We had so many laughs and good times. He was such a great guy. He wrote to me when I was in basic training in the Air Force and addressed me as "colonel" on the face of the envelope. The drill instructor didn't like that one, but he...
