Not sure what to say?

Dear Sally & family, my sincere condolences. Dave was a great guy! My first big sale in real estate, 1200 acres of Money Hill. Riding the property and talking with Dave about the logging operations of the early 1900's. The tung farm, building the lakes, the way it was. Pony club and the many memorable days with our kids enjoying their horses. Playing tennis. Dave will always be fondly remembered. May God bless you and your family.

I was a classmate of David at Saint Mark's; I still have a vivid memory of him as a fine friend. I offer the family my deepest condolences.

Sally, We offer you & the family our deepest condolenses. Mr. Goodyear was a great man & will be deeply missed by all. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Gary and Lydia Jenkins

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Sally, Mimi and the rest of the family. Dave was a great business associate. His enthusiasm for Money Hill was contagious, and his high quality of character was unparalleled. He will be sorely missed.

Sallly,

Plese accept our deepest sympathy in your loss.

My sympathies are with all of the Goodyear Family and employees of Money Hill. I have had the privilege of getting to know Mr. Goodyear through the eyes of those who knew him. I was also fortunate to attend the Money Hill 10th Anniversary Celebration. I sent my autographed print to my brother in California who had to relocate after Katrina. He loved to play golf at Money Hill.

I know it has been a hard row for you and David, having gone thru it with George. I'm sorry I can't be with you tomorrow, but my thoughts and prayers are and will be. I extend my deepest sympathy.

I was born in Bogalusa in 1939. I remember the pines and the land. Your loved one had a love of the conservation and birds-flowers all. His life was poetry though I knew him not. May he rest in the peace that God's nature will provide away from the storms of the world. I remember Bogalusa and my childhood so long ago and as he departed our paths have crossed in the reading of a great life well spent.
