Not sure what to say?

Miss him, he was a great friend.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am just learning of David`s passing. I knew him during a very difficult time in my life, after I left a career I was certain in, and he hired me at amsouth bank as a teller, even though he knew I was over qualified with a graduate degree, working on a second one. but he gave me a chance and that allowed me to sustain myself during my second graduate program. He was full of life and an incredible leader, which appears to be, based on the comments, in every aspect of his life that he had,...

I was David Graves´ First Sergeant when he was in command in 2002 at Fort Benning Georgia. The hours spent will Soldiers and Drill Sergeants as a commander of a basic training company was crazy, minimum 12 hours days. We had some long talks during our tenure. He was a Soldiers´ leader. His faith and family was his priority. He was a great man! May God bless and look over his family during these trying times. "Without memory, there is no culture. Without memory there would be no civilization,...

I am so saddened by this news. He's been my attorney for over 10 years. We are working on a new case now for over 2 years. I just saw him a month ago and talked him 2 weeks ago. I texted him Aug 30 and he hadn't responded yet which I thought was so unusual and now I know. I'm sitting in my car crying bc he was such a beautiful soul, not a prejudice bone in his body. I just opened this letter from his law firm and I'm tears bc he left us too soon.

I served with Colonel Graves in Iraq. He was my truck commander. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. He was a great officer and even better man. Clayton Morton

I served with Dave as a Lieutenant in I Troop 3/2 ACR at Fort Polk. When he found out I had Alabama roots he took me under his wing. He was the center of the world for most of us at Polk and made us all better men. Dave have me my first spurs, a huge honor for me in the Cavalry world!

I served in Iraq with David he was a hood leader and man sorry to hear of his passing SFC Darren Hall ret
