Not sure what to say?

Dear Bonnie, Laura, and Rick,
I have often thought of you over the years. I am very sorry to learn of David's passing. I appreciated the opportunity he gave me to work as a law clerk. It was a memorable experience. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Julie Pierson Lees

Because of David Grat I have three more children that we adopted. Without him my life would have been so different. He was truly a ripple in the pond!

Words can only tell a story. Words for this great man can never be enough. David was a true human. Wish there where more people in the world like him. Thanks for what you gave to the world and the insight you gave to me. Because of you I eat frog legs. LOL Great man Great human. Hope you know just how much you where loved and are missed.

I just found out about David's passing and my heart is so sad. I knew David for many many year! I was fourteen when I met him. He stayed my friend forever. His passing is a shock. I'm sorry for his family and friends. He told me once that he lived half of his life one way and at fifty he was going to live his life another way! He taught me many things. One was to play hard and work hard. I miss him so much.

So often in life we forget that each day is a gift--a blessing. I had to adopt that philosophy myself and it has changed my life. Although we may have lost touch over the years, my love for your family has always remained strong. You never forget your good friends (Laura) and when they are suffering from illness or any of life's challenges you want to express your concern and support. Laura and Bonnie I will continue to pray that God will guide you on a path of serenity. Sara Sullivan

David and the Gray Family,

I am saddened to hear of your father’s passing and want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully fond memories of time shared together will assist you through your period of grief.

In Sympathy,

Don Schramm, Chicago

I started as a law clerk in 1972 with Dave Gray, I thought I knew a lot until I learned , working for him just how little I did know. Dave taught me the work habits I still practice today as well as how to try a case. Undoubtedly, there are a lot of lawyers out there that are still using what they learned from Dave. He was always availabl to consult with on the phone or over dinner. I pray for him and his family in the sad time. Burt Brown

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Take comfort in knowing that Mr. Gray has directly and indirectly influenced more lives in a positive way than you will ever know.
