Mr. David James Greer, of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019 at St. Joseph West hospital in Lake St. Louis. David was born on January 24 1956 in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, to Robert and Arlene (nee: Kobayashi) Greer. He had reached the age of 63 years 3 months and 10 days.


David was married to Jennifer Christine Edgemon on January 4, 1985 in St. Charles, MO. They spent 34 wonderful years together. David served our country in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a drywall taper, but more recently was working as the attendant at the local Petro Mart gas station and car wash. He was very easy going and personable. David loved to cook for his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and being outdoors. David also enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball on TV.


David was preceded in death by his father; Robert Greer. He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, two children; Amanda Johnson and husband Matt, Joshua Reeves, his mother; Arlene and step father Masanori Miyama, one brother; Robert Greer, Jr., other relatives and many friends.


A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday May 15, 2019, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. The memorial service will begin at 5:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.

David was a quiet and gentle soul. When I moved to Warrenton, he treated me like his best friend and I loved him for that! He will be missed. R.I.P. my friend!
