Not sure what to say?

Dear Peggy & girls; I am so sorry that I missed the Remembrance Celebration yesterday! Anne & I were in Dubuque visiting our granddaughter. Dave is one of the most interesting characters that I have been blessed with to have as a friend! I've made arrangements to have a Mass celebrated for him. May God Bless him, you and the entire family! Wes Ricchio

"Everyone is a winner" was offered as David would pass out business cards at Chet's. ('Ya had to be there) Who else would have a binder in the barber shop with rock and roll cd's that a client could select and then while listening David would give a complete history of the artist. Ping-Pong table in back, maybe a few cold ones-Oh Yeah! One of a kind, a kind man, and one of the funniest guys I ever met. No doubt the boys up Heaven will need a trim...but no mohawks please. Greg Sytkowski

I only knew Dave when I brought my son into his shop downtown for a haircut. He was so kind and entertaining. One remembers people like Dave who made everyone feel like they mattered. Condolences to those he loved.

To the family of David~ My late mother (Patricia Meier) and his mother were very close friends. Virginia had babysat me a handful of times and David was always so kind to me. As I grew up, I would constantly run into David downtown (when the barber pole was there). He always took the time for a chat and we would talk about how our moms were doing, what I was up to etc... After he married and the girls were born he couldn´t brag enough about them. He was so proud of his daughters. May he rest...

Sorry for your loss! The man was a great man and gave me great hair cuts.

So sorry to lose David . Was a dear dear school friend and always a joy to see. God be with him!

Peggy, So sad to hear of all this. I´m not sure what to say anymore, other than I am so sorry for you and your family! Please understand my sympathy for you. I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts. Sean Toohey

Peggy and family, So sorry to learn of David's death. He sounded like a wonderful person! Sending you much love. With deepest sympathy.
