Not sure what to say?

Dave I can still feel and see your energy. Since you died MJ has as well. Two of the most important people in my life are now gone. There is no filling the void that has created but the living has to adjust to the new norm.

The following is from a movie we once shared, "May the rest of those that have gone before steady the unrest of those to follow".

I hope that is true. Forever I'll miss you and now MJ. We all made each other's journey more interesting. Love you...

I knew Dave for 5o years. My wife MJ, David, and I were best friends for over 50 years. There are no words to describe our friendship and the time we spent together. He was special to me and I loved him like a brother. David was one of a kink, a once in a lifetime friend. We were like the three musketeers. It was always David, Glen and MJ. Never one without the others. You will be missed but never forgotten. Our stories are legendary , we were so lucky to have shared so much. You'd have...

David was a dear friend who will be missed greatly. We talked at least once a month, and shared a great deal of our respective hopes, dreams, and joys. I will especially miss his quiet laughter, his gentleness, and understanding nature. I am glad that he can rest in peace, and know that he will forever know that he was, and is, loved by so many.

I was truly saddened to learn that Dave had passed away. We were in a number of high school classes together, and I remember him as a bright, kind boy. We had a lovely conversation at our 40th high school reunion, and I'd hoped to catch up with him again at our 50th. My sincere condolences go out to you all.

It will certainly feel very strange being on Summerland and knowing that you are no longer at Pine Point. Thank you Dave for being such a wonderful friend. I miss you. Ann

To Dave's family he will be greatly missed at the river, he was a fountain of information and knowledge that he was always willing to share along with a lot of river stories we will miss him. Don & Marie

To Dave's family and friends,

I was hoping to see Dave at our reunion. When he wasn't there, I thought we could get a group together in Florida, since I heard he spent winters there. Sad to say that did not happen. Dave was a special person, one of the "good guys!" I remember running into Dave, when we were in Jr. High, while camping on Wellesley Island in the 1000 Islands. "Walk Don't Run" was on the jukebox in the Rec Hall. Sorry, I can't attend the service, but I will be thinking...

You were a new found friend though our friendship was fifty yrs old-I'll never forget the conversations over the past year!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
