Not sure what to say?

Just learned of coach's passing. He was a coach at Massillon when my father was the Tiger's head coach and he coached me at Kent Roosevelt when he was an assistant under Tom Campana, before leaving for Springfield. Sorry to learn of his passing but he touched many lives, including mine. Carter Strang.

Jeff, Steve, Mike and Sharon,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. He now joins your mother and both are still, as always, watching over their four wonderful children and beloved grandchildren.

Gary and Marlene Beckley

Daryle Fenisey, coached girls' basketball while Dave was the AD at RHS, sends his condolances.
Dave certainly "had our back" during difficult times; a good and loyal friend.

Sherry, Jeff, Steve and Mike. Very sorry to see the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and feelings are with you and your families.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Was proud to be on his first Metro championship team of 1969.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

DEAR GROSSE FAMILY, BARB'S FAMILY ON HER MOTHER'S SIDE SEND OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS TO YOU! AUNT RITA WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU. HOPE TO SEE OR HEAR FROM YOU SOON. LOVE BETTY GAINEY

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. May your memories comfort your heart; and God help the Grosse family during this time of sorrow. Isa.41:13

Condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Grosse family. David was a tremendous influence on many of us. I always loved his sense of humor. A very down-to-earth guy who I was blessed to have known. He will be greatly missed.
