Not sure what to say?

I've only recently learned of your passing David. I am sad we lost touch how ever many years ago it's been and that I wasn't around at the end. I will always remember you with that wonderful smile, sense of humor and that great big heart. I keep my memories of you, the laughter, good times and friendship, in a special place in my heart. I think of you often my dear friend. Until we meet again....

As a young child, I lived behind David in Houston (Sanford Street). I remember having a good time playing with David. This is the first of hearing of David's passing.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, David. David was a great inspiration to me along with his wife Denise. Heaven is a much sweeter place with David in it.

Dear Denise,
I have been praying for you throughout and will continue to do so. Although I only knew David for a short time, he had a special place in my heart and will be missed. My heart goes out to you at this time of loss.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of your husband and father. My teacher at school went to the website and also sends her condolences. She is a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

Dorothy and Denise,
Friday and Saturday were a wonderful celebration of David's life and all he did for others. Dorothy, you did such a good job raising him, and he loved you dearly. Denise, you were the love of his life, and his reason to keep trying these last years of ill health. You took such good care of him...he couldn't have been in better hands. He will be missed by all who knew him, but he left his mark on us all. What a fine man he was!

Love,
Sharon Hicks

Dorothy, I'm sorry to hear of David's passing. He was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Denise,
Michelle & I send our prayers & condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I only received news of David's passing on Saturday after the services had already taken place, so I was not able to attend. David will always have a special place in our hearts.
