Dave a great person with a good sense of humor friendly and always positive. I've only known Dave for 5. Years he was a great friend to everyone and treated everyone well. He is definitely going to be missed. Dave always had some good stories about scouts and camping and traveling. Camping and traveling will not be the same without you Dave.

I met Dave at a scout meeting in 1998 and we soon became friends. My boys entered Troop 433, and I became a scout leader alongside Dave. He showed me much about the scouting program and how to build leadership in young men. He and I took a crew to Philmont in 2002 and I am still very very grateful to Dave, for if it wasn't for his leadership, I might not have faired as well as I did. I met Gus for the first time at a troop 433 meeting . My first impression was that he came across as pushy. As we became companions in troop outings, I realized that he was an individual who really enjoyed scouting and also cared for all the members of the troop, including the adult leaders.
