Dave, words don´t seem enough right now, but here goes. Somehow the universe - Libs as its messenger - delivered me to Coventry , where you and Mary Helen welcomed me into your home. Looking back, it still feels surreal that anyone would take in another 16-year-old girl in the `90s. But you were never short on courage. You supported me, grabbed the mitt and threw the ball with me, encouraged me, laughed with me (and at me), made me laugh, and-just as importantly-called me out when I...

My friendship with Dave and MaryHelen "blossomed" in the late 1960´s!!We were serious popcorn eating, marble game enthusiasts! We had so many nights of laughter, and heated debates, which David thought he always won. . . Years passed, then, out of the blue, David called me to set up a surprise visit with MaryHelen. She was surprised and I loved it. That´s David. . . a caring, humble, intelligent and thoughtful man who will be treasured forever by those who knew. him.

So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for you and family.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Guzak. I´m so sadden to hear of Mr. Guzak´s passing. Mr. Guzak was my academic principal at Flint Northern. He always was encouraging, made me laugh, and advocated for me and so many other students. He really was a blessing and was about the students. I have the best memories of him always walking down the hall saying Deanna remember you got this, you´re going to be fine, and that meant a lot to me. I would sit in his office sometimes cause I...
