David and I met playing Bath Ruth Baseball in Urbana. His dad Ralph was our coach. David was 13 then and we've been friends since. Heartbroken to know he has passed. So many memories. Halby liked his rock n roll music, the St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings and Illini. He went to Lincoln College to play baseball as a pitcher. Very sad to see David go!
