I just read about Davey in the Don Bosco Newsletter. Davey was a boyhood friend of mine in Upper saddle River. We had a lot of good times together and I am saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember him as a really neat guy.

I was very saddened to learn that Dave has finally left us. My earliest memory of him is going out to a store in sixth grade and buying a rainbow-striped, stretchy nylon belt like the one he had because I thought it looked so "cool"! Dave was one of the few true individuals I've ever had the pleasure to know. Fads meant nothing to him: he was always himself, genuine and sincere. He didn't need to put on a façade, because what you saw of him was what you got, and that was a truly likable...
