Not sure what to say?

I knew Dave from my time at BG. I was a newbi, introduced to the sport of swimming and diving as a Freshman. Paul Atkinson took me under his wings and told me the finer points but said "If we get swimmers from EGR, they are probably All-Americans. What i remember most about Dave was his love for trains. Every trip we took and I was in his vehicle, we were taught about trains and such. But most of all, Dave was a great guy, teammate and leader. Sorry to hear of his loss and my prayers go...

I remember his driving to see the trains go by !

so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was "one of a kind" and we always enjoyed him..... Barry and Trish Boyer

I received the email from "Hap" about Dave and am so sorry to hear that sad news. I have some wonderful memories of Dave coming to my house to swim in the lake. Also Dick Ryan arranged a lunch date with him and a few others one of the last times we were in EGR and it was so good to see him. May God bless his memory and that you and the family get the strength to get through this loss.

We reconnected out at Mt. Beach and in AZ. Dave's wonderful whacky humor will always be remembered! Nancy, we're so sorry for your loss, but have fond memories of you and Dave. We send our love and prayers. Nancy & Neil Elmer Powell, Ohio.

I am thinking of you all at this very minute as your visititation will be this afternoon. God speed, dear friend. Judy Petrie

To the Hamilton family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hamilton always showed me, and the rest of the Central Rams who were friends with Dave, respect and kindness and was a great guy to talk to. I hope you take comfort that he is in a better place..rooting for the Tigers!

It would be hard to find a more friendly and easy going man than Dave Sr.He was like a second father to me.I no that wherever he is its 80 degrees and sunny,he's drinking a cold one and casting jigs catching one big smallmouth after another.

Hamilton's, we are sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Hamilton as an witty intelligent man and a great neighbor to our family. Lots of Love and Prayers.
