Colonel Oscar Ferrell, USAF (Retired)

One of the finest men I have ever had the privilege to work with, and know as a friend. Please accept the condolences of our family.
Jim and Donna Shepherd

Our hearts go out to you and your family, Genie, as you have had to say goodbye to your David. May all the sweet memories you shared, bring you peace. We are thinking of you, Joe and Sue Lozano

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. He was such a sweet man and growing up knowing him was a privilege. I will always remember his love of horses. Even "letting us" brush them. Now I see that was free labor! Ha! Smart man. My heart goes out to all of you.

We were so sad to hear of David's passing. We always enjoyed great times with him. Thinking of your wonderful family. Love, Karen and Jack O'Quin

It was such an honor to have worked with him at the City of Parker.

So sorry for your loss,Genie.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

Dr. David Hammel congratulates a graduate at the 2010 commencement ceremony.

We were so lucky to benefit from David's wisdom and kindness at Collin College. Devastating loss for everyone who knew and loved him but such a remarkable life well-lived!
